Free Alongside Ship (FAS) is an incoterm that outlines the seller's responsibility to deliver goods to a designated port, positioning them next to a specific vessel for convenient transfer. Under FAS, the buyer assumes the shipping expenses, and the risk of loss or damage to the cargo transfers to the buyer upon its arrival at the agreed-upon location.
