Apapa Terminal to Begin 24-Hour Barge Operations in Q4 2026
What Happened?
APM Terminals Apapa plans to introduce 24-hour barge operations at its dedicated Finger Jetty starting in Q4 2026 to improve cargo flow for imports and exports. Concurrently, the Nigerian terminal is targeting a significant increase in rail use, aiming to move 60% of its export containers by train to reduce logistics bottlenecks.
