CMA CGM Increases FAK Rates from Asia to Mediterranean & North Africa
What Happened?
CMA CGM has announced an increase in Freight All Kind (FAK) rates for shipments from all main Asian ports to the Mediterranean and North Africa. Effective from August 15th to 30th, 2026, the new rates apply to dry, reefer, OOG, and paying empty cargo. These rates include basic freight and bunker-related surcharges but are subject to other charges like THC.
