CMA CGM Adjusts Peak Season Surcharges for Red Sea and South Africa Routes
What Happened?
CMA CGM has announced changes to its Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) affecting specific trade routes. The PSS for shipments from North Europe to the Red Sea will be reduced from September 1, 2026. Concurrently, a new PSS will be introduced for cargo from Asia to South Africa and Mauritius starting August 20, 2026.
