CMA CGM Implements Peak Season Surcharge for Reefer Shipments to Monrovia, Liberia

What Happened?

CMA CGM has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for reefer cargo from all origins worldwide to Monrovia, Liberia. The surcharge is set at EUR 500 or USD 600 per TEU. The effective date is July 20th, 2026, based on the date of loading, except for shipments from US territories, Latam notice countries, and Australia, for which the effective date is August 10th, 2026.
