CMA CGM Adjusts Peak Season Surcharge for Dry Cargo from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
What Happened?
CMA CGM has announced an update to its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for dry cargo from India West Coast, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka to South America East Coast. The PSS of USD 2,000 per dry container, which was applicable to all contracts from August 3rd to 31st, 2026, will be updated. Effective September 1st, 2026, the USD 2,000 per dry container PSS will only apply to long-term contracts.
