CMA CGM Implements Rate Restoration Initiative for West Med to USA Shipments
What Happened?
CMA CGM has announced a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) effective September 15th, 2026, for all cargo except OOG. This rate increase applies to shipments from West Mediterranean ports to all US East, Gulf, and West Coasts and inland destinations. New rates will be USD 250 per 20' container and USD 500 per 40', 40' HC, and 45' container.
