CMA CGM Announces Rate Restoration Initiative for East Med to US East Coast Shipments

What Happened?

CMA CGM has announced a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) effective November 1, 2026, for all cargo from the East Mediterranean, Black Sea, Adriatic, and North Africa to the US East Coast. For shipments originating from Türkiye, the RRI will be USD 750 per 20' and USD 1,500 per 40'/HC/45'. For cargo from other specified ports including Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, and Ukraine, the increase will be USD 500 per 20' and USD 1,000 per 40'/HC/45'.
