What Happened?

Crowley has launched a new weekly direct container service, the Gulf-Central America Express, connecting Port Houston with Santo Tomás de Castilla, Guatemala, and Puerto Cortés, Honduras. Starting September 10, the service aims to reduce transit times for dry and refrigerated cargo by avoiding transshipment delays. The inclusion of 53-foot containers is intended to improve inland intermodal efficiency for cargo moving between Central America and US markets.
