DCSA Updates Track & Trace Standard for IoT and Reefer Containers

What Happened?

The Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) has released Track & Trace 3.0.0, a new data standard that expands container visibility to include IoT and reefer events. This update provides a common format for sharing smart container data, such as geolocation, door status, and temperature readings, among various stakeholders. Organizations currently using the previous 2.2.0 version must migrate to the new standard to maintain data interoperability.
