Hapag-Lloyd Mandates Online DG Documentation for Southeast Asia Shipments

What Happened?

Hapag-Lloyd is standardizing its documentation submission process for Dangerous Goods (DG) and select non-DG cargo across six Southeast Asian markets, effective September 7, 2026. Customers shipping from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand will now be required to use the carrier's online Booking Amendment Tool. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce documentation errors by phasing out email submissions.
