Hapag-Lloyd Implements Peak Season Surcharge for Türkiye to US East Coast & Gulf Shipments
What Happened?
Hapag-Lloyd has announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for container shipments originating from Türkiye destined for the US East Coast and Gulf. This surcharge will be effective for all sailings starting September 12, 2026, and applies to all container types. The rates are set at USD 400 for 20' containers and USD 500 for 40' containers.
