Hapag-Lloyd Raises Mediterranean-North America Shipping Rates

What Happened?

Hapag-Lloyd is increasing its ocean tariff rates for shipments from the Mediterranean Sea (including South of France) to Canada, the USA, and Mexico, effective from October 1, 2026. The rate increase applies to 20' and 40' Dry, Reefer, and special containers, with rates rising by USD 300 per 20' and USD 600 per 40' container.
