Hapag-Lloyd Adjusts TAO and TAD Surcharges for Eastern Caribbean Shipments
What Happened?
Hapag-Lloyd is adjusting its Transport Additional Origin (TAO) and Transport Additional Destination (TAD) charges for cargo to and from the Eastern Caribbean Islands due to increased 3rd party feeder costs. The revised rates apply to 20' and 40' Dry, Reefer, and Dry Dangerous Goods containers. The changes are effective October 4, 2026, for non-FMC trades and October 14, 2026, for FMC trades.
