Maersk Lowers Intermodal Fuel Surcharges Across Benelux and DACH Regions
What Happened?
Maersk has introduced a downward revision to its bi-weekly Intermodal Fuel Fee across the Benelux and DACH regions, effective from 26 October to 9 November 2026. The adjustment impacts both import and export inland haulage tariffs across truck, rail, and barge operations, while fees in Poland remain unchanged. The temporary reduction will lower overland transportation expenses for cargo moving across Western and Central Europe.
