Maersk to Implement Revised Terminal Handling Charges in Brazil
What Happened?
Maersk will introduce updated Origin and Destination Handling Charges (OHC/DHC) for all container traffic to and from Brazil, effective November 1, 2026. This adjustment is attributed to rising port and operational costs. The revision will directly increase landed costs for shippers and consignees engaged in the Brazilian trade lane.
