Maersk Implements New Surcharges for UAE Shipments and Benelux Inland Haulage
What Happened?
Maersk is implementing two new cost measures, impacting shipments to the UAE and inland transport in the Benelux region. A US$500 per container surcharge will apply to contract bookings destined for the UAE from mid-September 2026, while a temporary fuel fee of up to 12% will be levied on Benelux inland haulage starting 14 September.
