What Happened?

MSC has announced a significant Freight All Kinds (FAK) rate increase for shipments from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh to Europe, effective 1 August 2026. These new rates, valid for one month, will raise costs for shippers on this key trade lane. Additional surcharges, including bunker and EU-related fees, will also apply.
