MSC Implements New FAK Rates for Shipments from Europe to the Americas

What Happened?

MSC has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates effective 1 September 2026 for shipments from North West Continent and ScanBaltic ports to the Americas. The new pricing structure applies to trade with the United States, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. Shippers should anticipate additional costs as the FAK rates exclude special commodities, local fees, and contingency charges.
