Ocean Network Express Revises Emergency Fuel Surcharge Globally

What Happened?

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is updating its Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) across all long-haul and short-sea trades, effective September 16, 2026. This revision introduces significant cost increases for shippers, with varying rates for dry and reefer containers based on headhaul and backhaul movements. The new global rates will apply to both FMC and non-FMC regulated trades indefinitely.
