What Happened?

Swire Shipping is implementing a revised Emergency Bunker Surcharge (EBS) across its global and Pacific trade routes, effective September 15, 2026. This adjustment will increase shipping costs for customers utilizing services connecting Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the US, and Pacific Islands. The revised EBS will be an additional charge on top of the prevailing Bunker Adjustment Factor.
