Swire Shipping Implements Rate Restoration for Pacific Shipments
What Happened?
Swire Shipping will implement a significant rate restoration for shipments from Asia and the Indian Subcontinent to various Pacific destinations, effective September 24, 2026. This increase of US$300 per 20-foot and US$600 per 40-foot container is due to equipment imbalances, strong demand, and rising operating costs. It will apply to all cargo with a Bill of Lading dated on or after the effective date.
