ONE Implements New Cargo Receiving Date Pricing for Europe and Africa Exports

What Happened?

Ocean Network Express (ONE) will adjust its freight rate calculation for all exports from Europe and Africa, effective September 1, 2026. The new policy bases pricing on the cargo receiving date (gated-in or collected) instead of the vessel's proforma departure date. This change aims to enhance rate certainty for shippers and mitigate the financial effects of vessel schedule volatility.
